Founded in 1918 by Dr. Josef Zelisko, the ZELISKO Company has served the industry over 80 years. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the International Knorr Brake Group, to which we have belonged since 1988, ZELISKO concentrates on the development, manufacture and sale of high quality products which are competitive worldwide.

ZELISKO signal production range comprises for example traffic signal heads of UV-stabilized, ant vandalism polycarbonate and variable fiber optic message signs.

With the phantomfree lens we succeeded to suppress the very dangerous phantom effect (red/amber/green lens shine at the same moment). The high technical standard of the fiber optic system and the manifold designs make them suitable for use on highways, airports, on the rail, for advertising, information and architectural components.

ZELISKO Company is one of the main suppliers for the Austrian Federal Railways and has successfully used fiber optic technology (cable conductor technic) to illuminate railway signals also on gantries. The light source can be placed up to 15m from the signals, which simplifies installation and maintenance and increase safety and security.
